From founding in a basement to a modern production facility – a journey full of precision, innovation, and family spirit
The Beginning in the Basement
Achim Werth started manufacturing surgical instruments in his own basement. The beginnings mainly consisted of assembly, surface treatment, and welding work – with passion and precision by hand.
30 Years of Precision & Experience
Over three decades of continuous specialization in ENT instruments and precision manufacturing. Building a loyal customer base through highest quality and reliability.
Werth Medical GmbH Founded
Major new beginning: Relocation to Spaichingen into a modern, large facility. Entry into 5-axis CNC manufacturing with Hermle and Star machines. First team grows to 3 employees.
ISO 13485 Certification
Successful certification according to DIN EN ISO 13485 – the first important milestone on the path to technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
Quality & Innovation
ISO 13485:2016 certification – Highest quality standards officially confirmed. Investment in new large CNC milling machine (Hermle C12). First apprentice hired – Youth development begins.
Further Growth
Hall expansion with additional 216m². Investment in 5-axis CNC flagship (DMG EVO 50). Team grows to 8 employees – Growth with technical excellence and team spirit.
